Orange mold/fungus on soil of bonsai tree was created by Kowabinsai

Can anyone identify this; weather or not it’s harmful and how to treat it if necessary?

Looks like some type of fungal outbreak. There are fungi everywhere, all the time. Most of them are no problems whatsoever, and they can be very beneficial.

Is there a clear problem with the plant?

No clear health issues so far, but its only been present two or three days.

Yellow spotting has started to appear on the leaves.

As this has Progressed it seems to be damaging the plant any recommendations on treatment.
