I was given a 名媛直播 Juniper as a gift and was wondering if this little tree can share time indoors as well as outdoors.
I live in Illinois and Winters are unpredictable. Can I keep my 名媛直播 Juniper indoors during the winter months and outside
during the spring and summer months? Or is it better to keep the tree inside entirely?

No and no.
It needs dormancy and a lot of light, and the climate inside your house is the worst possible for the plant. Indoors (either all-time or during winter) is a sure way to kill it.

What you need is something protecting it from extreme frost and -even more- wind.
A cold frame or an unheated garage next to a window, for example. If temps get too extreme even for that, something to keep it around freezing point.
