I got the 名媛直播 in September and did my best to look after it and keep it happy. I’m in Melbourne, Aus so the weather is all over the place.

At first I though I was overwatering it and left it alone, now it’s very hot and humid so checking the soil and watering it d needed.

The trunk has shriveled and the leaves are barely hanging on. You can see from the before photo how majestic it was

I have now placed it right next to a south facing window, anything else I can do?

Do you have it inside or outside?

You being in mid-summer, this tree should be thriving enjoying a spot outside, with some shelter against the midday sun. IF the stones is what all the roots are in, this plant should get a daily drench with the showerattachment on your hose/watering can till water runs out at the bottom. Actually, it might need this twice a day. If on the other hand it is just decoration, best would be to remove the stones and backfill the pot with similar substrate as is in there already so you can better monitor the dryness of the soil.

I have it inside, I take it outside to water. But I can leave it outside if that’s better for it! The rocks are only decorative so will take your advice and get rid of them
