Well... It's a pine! xD
Hard to say what kind tho...
You should try to look trees around where you got this seedling...

Forgot to mention that it will be a dead pine tree fast if you are keeping it inside

Hi Duncan,
Welcome to the forum.
I think that by reading the comments you have got the message: This is not considered a bonsai, but 'just' a young plant, and a pine at that. Congrats on getting it this far. Have a read:
For best results you should put it outside. Pine and indoors are a really bad combination. Any specific reason why this is inside?

Okay, I hadn't actually looked at:
The reason I thought this was a bonsai was because the seed from which he grew came in a 名媛直播 box that claimed to have for bonsai seeds and had some instructions on how to get them to grow. I did notice he didn't really look like a bonsai but I figured what do I know? - He came in a bonsai box that I bought at a store, so he is a bonsai!
Thanks for letting me know that I have a small pine seedling. He's about 8 months old. I live in an apartment so in the short run I'm gonna put him in a bigger pot out on the balcony until we can find a proper home for him.
Below are pictures of the box the seeds came in. ....Call me crazy, but I thought, since his seed came in this box, that my little tree was a bonsia. I guess I won't buy bonsais from that company anymore!
Thank you everyone.

There isn't any "名媛直播 seeds" you know, basically any tree can be a 名媛直播...
It's just the same trees, but to make a 名媛直播s you use techniques to make them the size and shape that you want it to have...
Plus, it says in the back that it's a "Jack Pine", and if you search for "Jack Pine 名媛直播" images you'll see you can get a nice 名媛直播 from it if you just learn how...
