I have a Ligustrum bonsai that I was given for Christmas. It is the same room as my Chinese Elm, given there are hard frosts outside, and the Chinese Elm seems healthy enough after shedding its winter leaves.

The Ligustrum, however, has had aome crumpled-looking leaves, and it has now developed some white substance on some of the leaves. Is this normal, and is the tree healthy, or is there a problem?

I have attached some photos of the tree.

I cannot comment on ligusturum as I have a hard time with them as well. But I am worried about your Elm. If it is inside it shoulnt shed its leafs.

It has just been brought back inside. It lost its leaves outside.

stragely enough, it is a fungal infection as if it is groing under very humid conditions.

It is VERY humid here. How do I treat it?
