First time growing 名媛直播, NEED HELP! was created by msrosetan

Hi there!
I recently bought some bonsai seeds. I have bought the following:
Japanese Red Pine
Weeping Fig
Trident Maple
Chinese Elm
Chinese Juniper

1.Which two would be the easiest to grow for beginners?
2.There are 20 seeds or so in each package. Do I scatter each seed and try to grow? Or do I put 3seeds or so together?
3.It is winter right now. How can I start the process? Should I plant them right now in my front house in the soil? Or get a pot and soil at the store and try to plant/water it indoors or outdoors?
4.Do I need a special soil? I have tried looking to Youtube and some use different types of soil and mix them all together.....

Questions may be really basic but I have no idea what, how, where to start and my seeds been lying around for a few months now :(

All the help will be greatly appreciated.
If this helps, I live in Canada (EST)

Thank you so much!

Hello and welcome
I'll try to answer your questions, but first: you did not buy bonsai seeds but regular tree seeds that, if left untouched, will grow to become normal trees.
If (and that is a very big if), some seeds will sprout it will be at least 10-15 years before they become something remotely looking like a bonsai ( by applying a multitude of specific techniques on specific moments in the year, depending on a lot of variables and this during decades)
your questions:
1: that depends on your horticultural knowledge
2 and 3: what does nature do right now? ( horticultural knowledge): seeds fell on the ground in autumn, they wait till spring and sprout when temps goe up. So, to answer your question, just use a seeding tray with some potting soil and place them outside, wait till spring. Never ever try to keep trees inside!!!!!!
4: no , not the first 10-15 years. the only thing you will need to do is let them grow, potting soil will do just fine, absolutely no need for bonsai soil.

A general note: do not be disappointed if none of the seeds sprout: trees produce thousands of seeds every year and only a few of them make it. This combined with the fact that your "bonsai" seed will probably be old to very old, and/or not even the seeds that are supposed to be in there ( its a total scam to be frankly).
While you wait for spring, study some general horticulture ( which you will need before anything bonsai-ish), go to a local bonsaiclub, youtube is a real help, good online courses to be found here on this site .....
