Hello,

New here, and new to 名媛直播. I have a kit i bought online, and have just finished soaking the seeds for 24 hours as the instructions directed. Now the next step it said was to keep the now potted seeds in pots, inside plastic bags with little holes in the bags for about 21 days, and then to put them in the fridge for a number of weeks.

My question is, should they still go in the fridge if they start to sprout in the 21 day period of sitting in the bags? I'm worried the cold might kill them if they do start to sprout before going in the fridge? it seems odd to me that they haven't gone straight in the fridge after the soaking period, im not really sure why they have this 21 day period in these bags between soaking and fridge?

Many thanks

You do understand that those seeds will grow normal trees, not bonsai? If you want to get into bonsai it is better to get more mature material and save some 10-20 years.

It is hard to answer your question without knowing the species. But in general, seeds that need cold stratification dont sprout without it.
