I live in Seattle, where the outside temperature is 40 degrees. Shall I leave it wrapped until next March?
What’s the next step.
Thanx
Kris.

When it is cold outside below 10/15 celcius, then keep it indoor in a unheated room around 15c. That way it will be getting a bit dormant and might lose some leafs.
Putting it in the living room at 20/21 celcius, the plant will think it is good weather and wants to grow. But the low humidity and low light levels will make it stretch and weaker.
If it is spring put it outside, so it get stronger and grow a lot, and then bring it inside for winter, repeat progress.
When you have visitors and want to show off the tree indoor, then bring it in for a day. Then put it outside again, because they will trive outside.

My tropicals are in the living room for winter, as warm and bright as they can get. Around april, may, once frost has passed and daytime temps peek about ca 15c, they move outside and stay out untill nights get too cold in fall. This works well for me.
