I have a wonderful Ginseng Fiscus 名媛直播 given to me as a Graduation present. When I received it looked beautiful with small and densely packed luscious leaves.

Despite having a daily fills on the humidity tray and what I thought was a good portion of light (Note: I have now just invested in a SANSI 36W Led Grow Light Bulb to see if that helps) it keeps dropping leaves and its still looking quite sparse.

On top of this it has a new couple shoots coming out (which I have kept as its helping make the plant look less sparse) but these leaves appear to be much larger than the original leaves on the other branches. So not sure what's going on there either.

Attached are pictures of it from the day I received it compared to now (along with photos of this new shoot and the larger leaves). You can see the crazy difference in foliage :(

Any help would be so much appreacated as ive only had this tree for 6 months and I get so attached to my plants :(

It's more a house plant then a bonsai.
Those bigger leafs that are coming from the lowerpart of the rootstock, is a diffrent kind of ficus then the top part.
You should cut those lower bigger leafs/branches away.
If you do that, the top (smaller leafs), will get more vigor.
Humidity trays don't work in big open space.
A grow light will absolutely help to get it trough winter.
I would advice to put the plant outside when spring comes and temps don't drop under 15celcius day/night.
That way, the plant can get a lot of energy in the summer, and then you can bring it back in winter.
Those ficusses will lose some leafs in winter, they do that every year.
