i was gifted a bonsai tree about 5 months ago and it seems to have grown alot. however its starting to look a little dull and not as vibrant green as it was when i first got it. is it time to repot? is it a watering issue? or something else? any help or advice is much appreciated.
i have included a picture of what my tree looked like when i first got it and some pictures of it now.

Coniferous species show signs of distress long after the initial problem occurred. Second, coniferous species really dislike being inside ( dislike as in they die).
But junipers do change colour a bit , going to the brown/ purplish side in winter so it could be that ( don’t know if it’s winter or summer in your part of the world)
Not much to do except water when needed, and hope for the best. Do not repot or fertilise

... it is December everywhere in the world:)
Forgot to ask: how and how often do you water your tree? Soil seems dry but I can’t see it well
