I'm in need of some help. I got this tree for my daughter this spring. It is now cold here so I put it in a grow tent with my other trees. Im not sure why it is dropping its leaves now. Is this tree supposed to lose its leaves?

How cold do you keep this fig tree?
It being tropical it needs fairly high temps and lots of light.

During the summer I keep the tree outside as our temp doesn't tend to drop below 70. In the winter I keep it in a grow tent where the temps range between high 60's to high 80's. I check the water on this tree daily since it is in a small pot. I'm thinking rhe issue is from my heater going out and the temp in my place dropped into the high 40's before I moved it into the tent in the tent it is getting 13 hours of light since that is what my other tree needs.

I haven't checked for those and I'm not sure how to check for them. I'll have to look that up and check.

spider mites are tiny, a fraction of a mm and make fine webbing all over the leaves. Scale are like 2mm lage brown or green caps on your plant.
If the leaves are sticky you have something living off the plant.
