I just got into the bonsai growing world. I have been trying to grow one for a while now but I think I mess something up each time. This time around I bought Japanese Wisteria seeds and will be potting today after performing scarification yesterday. Does anyone have any helpful advice I could use? I have done lots of research on the Japanese Wisteria and have seen pictures of this beautiful bonsai tree and that image of the cascading pink or purple blossoms is what is driving me forward to create this beautiful tree. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated and very helpful!

I have a few questions for you:
- are you in the northern or Southern Hemisphere?
- what have you tried before and what went wrong
- did you buy “ bonsai seed”?
- how is your horticultural knowledge?

My suggestion would be to start with a mature plant. Wisteria from seed may take 10+ years to get flowers. And similar time to get a trunk of any size.
