Hello! I purchased this small tree at a plant stand next to my local grocery store. The person there didn't know what it was or anything about caring for it. I thought it was a very interesting plant and he offered me a discounted price since he had no information on it and it doesn't look super healthy.

I've been looking at bonsai varieties as well as various caudiciform plants, but nothing quite matches. The trunk is very thick and the leaves are long and fuzzy. Has anyone seen this before?

this is some species of succulent. I would recommend going to a succulents forum. This forum is about bonsai. This plant has nothing much to do with bonsai.
