Can a juniper bonsai survive inside? was created by Bella Cataline

I'm new to the bonsai world, and have always wanted a bonsai for my room. My favorite tree is a juniper, and I was wondering if it is possible to have one indoors? Maybe part time indoors part time outdoors?
Thank you!

The simple answer is no.
The more nuanced answer is, in theory any tree can be indoors provided you can give it enough light, the right year round temperature, the right level of water, the right humidity levels, good airflow (i.e. perfectly replicating an outdoor environment, indoors).
Juniper's really, really don't do well indoors. Ensuring it's getting all the above indoors requires a level of commitment, cost and knowledge that are beyond most people, particularly if it's your first tree.
Would strongly recommend you look at other trees (Ficus, Jade, Chinese Elm) being better examples of trees that people successfully grow indoors.
It's also worth saying that almost ANY tree will do better outdoors than indoors, the exception being where you live in a country that has weather conditions that don't suit the tree, in which case you might bring it inside for parts of the year. Good luck with your first tree, whatever it is!

Thank you! I think I may convert my past window box to a shelf for them, that way they should get plenty of sunlight & nutrients while still being close by.

If you want it to live then no. It is simple it will not live long. Every week there are posts here asking why their Juniper has died, and almost every one has been inside.
