Hello,
I have a two year old jacaranda mimosifolia that I've been growing from a seed. The first winter he spent his time in my very warm, very sunny office at work. I kept the heater going at 70(ish) degrees all winter, and my tree seemed to flourish.
This year, because of COVID, I'm working from home. My apartment gets much less sun (maybe two hours of indirect sun) and by the windows I would say it stays 50-65 degrees. I'm worried my sapling isn't going to do very well this winter.
I bought a small heat fan, and set it up nearby to keep it warm during daylight hours, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of situation. The leaves have started to fall, which I've read is normal for winters when there is less light, but I also think it's
I'm extremely invested in the continued growth of this tree.
