Hi all. I have a little maple bonsai that was going good for about a year. It needed to be repotted so i did that around 6 months or more ago and things seemed fined. Spring came by this year and it seemed like it was doing fine then all of a sudden leaves started going brown and dying i tried not to over water or under water the best i could but it just kept wilting till now its like this. Is it dead? If so what went wrong if anyone can tell.



My other issue is i have a common myrtle which has been perfect since i brought it. Ive just noticed latley the leaves on the outside areas of the tree are curling up and getting soft. The leaves have always been crisp for a lack of a better word. Im worried this one might be going down hill too.

What country are you in? Repotting of Maples in done in spring, any other time is problematic. There is no picture so I can't see what you are talking about. Same applies to the other plant, but it does sound like the same problem which if you are in the northern hemisphere and your plants are where they should be outside, then it is autumn and the leaves drop. If you are in the southern hemisphere then it a different story.

I did suspect you might be in Australia. No they should not be losing leaves. If the temps are high, anything over 20C and lots of sin then you should be watering at least every day and possibly more often. Looks like lack of water to me. As they both have the same symptoms then that seems the likely problem.
