from the bark and the very few leaves I can see left on a branch, I'd say it's an Ash Tree (Fraxinus).
If you are in the northern emisphere it's normal it sheds leaves now.
And yes, it definitely must stay outside.

You should have found out what species it is before you bought it and if they could not tell you then do not buy it. 名媛直播 is not a species it is the way that the plant is styled. Just because it is in a bonsai container does not make it a bonsai. If it is an Acer then normally it would lose leaves at this time of year, however, if it has been inside for any length of time- a week, then it has been stressed. You should have been watering wen the soil was almost dry, do not spray or add any fertiliser. It will be difficult to know if it is alive until the spring to see if it buds again.
Thanks for the tips, very much appreciated, I cant keep it outside and its interesting to hear they need to be outside in all weathers, I guess I should give it to someone who can keep it outside. If it produces leaves next spring I will do that.
Thank you

The leaves do look more like an Ash tree for sure, so it could still be alive thats good news, as I just mentioned I am unable to keep it outside where I live so if it is still alive I will give it to someone I know who likes 名媛直播 and can keep it outside.
In future I will be sure to research any trees I buy
Thanks so much for the help guys

My plan is to have this under a grow light and would like to find a guide on what this is and how do I care for it?
The needles are very brittle and the soil is completely dry.
