Recently, about a week ago my mom sent me a bonsai tree that she found on sale (not entirely sure where she got it but just it was from a grocery store) when she gave it to me it definitely was not in the best shape (still isn't but I think it's getting a bit better?) the only issue is I have absolutely no idea what type of bonsai it is and therefore im not really sure what type of care it needs. also don't really know what I should do about what I'm assuming are dead branches, but I don't wanna do anything in case it is deciduous. I really don't want to end up killing this tree so any help would be greatly appreciated!note: I've moved it from where I originally had it to take pictures, and haven't changed anything regarding trimming branches or repotting it. it usually is on a windowsill as its still warm here so I'm not concerned about it freezing.

You have a ficus retusa.
Treat is like any other houseplant. It needs lots of light, watering whenever the soil is getting dry.
