I ordered my 名媛直播 in March. I water it with one cup of water once a week. I recently ordered a grow lamp for it since I live in Seattle, we don't get much sun. I spray it with a spray bottle 1x-2x a day. Before I got the lamp it lost quite a bit of leaves and there are still some leaves browning.

Will this tree be ok? How long does it take for leaves to recover? Is there anything I can do better? The leaf coverage is very poor but I want it to get better.

Your tree is dying of thirsty.

Spraying it does no good. That helps air ferns but a tree needs water in the soil. Once a week indoors isn't enough.

Pour water on the soil until it runs out of the holes in the bottom of the pot. Do this whenever the soil is dry if you poke you finger down into it.

Thank you. Is there a general rule of thumb on how often a week it should be watered?

When it is dry, water it. Stick your finger into the soil. If it feels damp, don't water it. If it feels dry, water it. This would be a rule of finger?

If you are going away and want leave instructions for a local waterer, every day.
