Spotty leaves

Wondering if anyone could help me, I’ve had a Chinese elm bonsai for 5 months now and in the last 3/4 weeks it’s had rapid leaf loss. I’ve since noticed these small red/black spots on the leaves so treated it with ‘plant invigorater’, there are plenty of new buds coming through but some (not all) of the leaves still have these black spots. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice?
Thanks

You have it inside. It should be outside. That is the first problem. Treating for something that has not been identified is not the best idea, you need to know what may be the problem first. Once outside, are you watering correctly? Waiting until the soil is almost dry before watering thorougly. I don't like SB Invigorator, I did use it for while, but it seemed to make it worse not better. Have you checked the leaves under to see if there are any insects? But first read on this site how to keep Chinese Elm.

It was bought as an indoor bonsai and I was told it’d be fine to keep indoors, I’ll perhaps wait for it dry out more before watering and see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion

That was not " a suggestion". There is no such thing as an indoor tree. Not one tree in the entire world lives naturally indoors.
Check this forum for "help my tree is dying /sick/loosing leaves" : 99% is from people that have their trees inside.
So, place it outside and it will regain its health and strength

Trees in nature don't grow indoors, don't run for shelter when it rains, don't get flu if the wind blows its branches.
