I have three small Japanese black pines. I am growing them from seeds and they are now about 15 months old. I am a complete beginner and I would like to ask you
Many thanks
- Is there something can do now? Like pruning or anything else. Or it still too early and I should leave grow for another year before taking any kind of action.
- In one of the trees (the middle one in the pic of three, also shown on its own in pic2 and pic3) the needles at the tip of the plant have taken a yellowish colour while the base of these needles looks dark blue-ish. These needles should have a nice healthy green colour since they are the youngest if my understanding is correct. Is my plant getting sick please?
- Any other comments/remarks are highly welcome
Many thanks

These seedlings need to be potted on to the next size pot. Alternatively, planted in the ground which would be better. Otherwise there is nothing to do for some years. Do not disturb the roots when moving on.
