Commercial Juniper Dying

Hey everybody,
I'm new in the 名媛直播 world but I have done some research. I read the Juniper 名媛直播 guide by 名媛直播 Empire and watched countless videos. My wife got me a commercial bonsai in August which I pretty much wanted to rehabilitate. I know repotting isn't an option this time of the year so I planned on nurturing & pruning it until Spring and then re-pot it.
My bonsai is as commercial as it gets. The pot is horrible. There are no drain holes and the soil is terrible. It even has glue "stone" decorations that fill up half the pot and the soil and bonsai fill up the other half. Every advice I've received is to NOT re-pot until next year. I live in Boston and it's going to get pretty cold soon. I'm keeping it outside despite the misleading instructions that came with it so it has been getting lots of sunlight and I've made sure to water it whenever it seems like the soil is starting to dry. I have given it bonsai liquid plant food twice since I've purchased it. Still, my bonsai is getting brown and slowly dying.
I got involved with this site after I got my bonsai and I plan on getting more bonsais once I move to Florida next year. I thoroughly enjoy the journey. So I was planning on getting one of the starter bonsais from this site but figured my commercial one would be a good step for me in learning how to care and prune bonsais. I was hoping it would survive the winter so I can give it the proper soil and place it in the right pot during next spring.
Should I take my chance and re-pot it and change the soil? Should I just keep caring for it as is until next spring as it slowly dies? Is there something that I'm missing? Can I keep it alive? Or should I just give up and go for a proper starter bonsai next year. Either way, I plan on getting one next year but I really wanted my first bonsai to come out strong. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks in advance!
Eric

Hey,
PLease sahre some pictures of your plant. Hard to tell what you are dealing with.
Repotting vss slp-potting are very different in bonsai terms. Slip poting and doing a full repot in spring should be ok.

Sorry to say but Its dead, and thats because it was kept inside. Trees die inside, it's as simple as that.

I only brought it inside to take the picture. Its been outside since my wife bought it but it WAS inside a store for who knows how long. But if it's dead, it's dead.

FEAR NOT!! I very invested. I plan on moving out of state so I'm going to be patient and wait until to truly start my 名媛直播 journey. I will get one of the starter 名媛直播s from this site rather than a stunted one from a store. And who knows, maybe I'll graduate to making my own from scratch. Thanks for the advice.
