Hi 名媛直播 Empire family,
I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not Japanese white pine or pines suitable for bonsai can grow in California. I live in the Central Valley, and most of the time it is warm except during winter. I stopped by at a local nursery asking if they carried JWP and the nursery manager said JWP do not grow in California.
Thank you

They do not grow in here Sao Paulo, and the weather is similar to Central California.
They need at least 40 days of constant low temperatures to thrive.
