Need help with my maple seedlings

Hi Guys,
Just looking for some advice on my maple seedlings. I incubated them in the fridge and then planted them into the pots/soil I was provided with the packet. The first 2 months they looked really healthy but the last two weeks they have started to turn, I’m not sure what to do to help them out?
They get a decent amount of sun in the afternoon.
I live in Australia and we have just come out of winter. Wasn’t too cold of a winter but the last few weeks when they have dropped off like this it was quite cold.
We are in the first week of spring.
Any advice?
Any questions you need to know fire away!
Thank you

cold as in a bit of frost at night? -1 is enough to kill these saplings.
If thats not the case: the soil looks really dry, have you been watering them enough?

They don't seem to be post-frozen.

Thank you for your responses. I don’t believe it went below zero but it is a small possibility.
I have been watering them by filling the bottle of the container up and letting it absorb through the bottom all the way through.
Should I store them inside ?

Capillary action only works if the soil is already moist. If you started off with dry growing medium (such as which has been stored over winter), then it is unlikely to be able to to transfer or hold water. A simple solution is to drop the containers into water up to about the level of the soil, for a couple of hours. When you take them out, you will immediately notice a difference to the weight of each pot. From then on, water them when the start drying out, but not before.
It would be a good idea to take them indoors for a couple of weeks until they perk up and you get some consistently good weather.

Trees breathe oxygen through their roots. I didn't believe this so I asked one of the biologists at the university if this were really true and he said yes. But, what that means is pour water on the top of the soil until water pours out of the holes in bottom of the pot. When you stop, the water pouring out ot the bottom pulls fresh air into the soil.Bints wrote: Thank you for your responses. I don’t believe it went below zero but it is a small possibility.

Watering from below does not refresh the air and the roots don't get the oxygen they need.
Over time, also, dissolved minerals build up in the soil. Watering from below allows the minerals to stay there but watering from above washes them out.

These pots dried out. Cause: The pots do not really bring water in the pot. From what I can tell, there is no way back for these
