I recently got this tree, after reaserching I'm thinking Japanese White Pine but that is a very uneducated guess. Please help.. 16oz water bottle for prospective

It is a young juniper, and it needs to be outside in full sun.
If temps in your part of the world go below -10 for a longer period then give it some shelter in an up heated garage or garden shed. Never inside
Loose the pebbles and water when soil becomes dry to the touch, not on a schedule.

I think he meant -10 Celsius. You described the water bottle in ounces which makes me think you might speak Fahrenheit.

i would let this juniper grow uninterrupted for a few years and just work on keeping it alive for now. welcome to the empire!
