Hey Bea, is it indoors?
It looks very bad indeed. Mine are outside, full sun and wind, watered daily (and twice a day in the summer), in a good well draining bonsai substrate mix.
I guess it is under watered, in a poor soil.
And if it is indoors, it will struggle and after a few seasons, die.

It looks dead. Do not keep moving it, leave it outside. Your watering is way off. You must water when needed, and twice a week in the weather we have had this year is not enough. My trees have been watered every day for the last five months with only a few days when it has been not needed.
Looking at the pictures I can see dry moss, the soil looks very dry. When watering soak the soil until it runs through the pot, and then check each day and water again when almost dry. You could hope it is alive but I am not sure, just keep watering and leave it out in the sun.
