Hello. I have this olive tree that i want to repot. Can i do it right now? I read somewhere that olive trees are best transplanted in the fall, when soil and air temperatures are still warm, so the roots can become established. Any suggestions?

Why do you want to re pot? is it not draining? Is there some other problem with the tree that needs it doing? The best time to re pot Olives in in the summer when it is hot. I have done mine in spring though. I would not do it now or anytime before spring unless you are in a country and it is still hot. But unless there is a problem then I would leave it until spring. Autumn is not the time to be doing it.

The tree stays outside. The problem is that the soil is very bad.

In the next 2-3 weeks the temperature will reach maximum 28-33 degrees Celsius so i guess it s pretty hot.

If you did it now then I suppose it would be ok if the soil is that bad. I would put it in a greenhouse during the winter if you do. I would not do it if it were mine though poor soil or not.
