Hi all, earlier today I picked up the tree below from someone who was giving it away for free. It looks in a pretty poor shape and while I didn’t get to speak to the original owner, I imagine that it has been kept inside and has been under watered. The tree is now outside and I’ve given it a good water. I just wondered if people had any advice for maximising the tree’s chance of survival.

If it was inside be careful with full sun. Better put it in the shade and step by step let it get used to the sun.
No fertilizer before it starts growing.

what Tropfrog says, and don't tinker with it all the time. Just water it , and thats it, leave it be to recover.
