I had three pines that had volunteered into an idle pot and were about two years old. I sprayed two and left the third, thinking to see how much the two grew more than the one. The two sprayed turned brown slowly starting three days later, and they died. The third is going strong, about three years later.
To be conclusive I would have to do the same experiment several times. It also had not visible effect on the elms. All in all, not going to try that again.

I mist mine with a couple of drops of superthrive in maybe 200ml of water. Couple times a month,
Pines, junipers and spruce seem to like it from what I can say, amazing bright green...

sometimes, late in the summer, this happens, it doesn't mean that your plant is dying. if you want my two bits worth, maybe some water, of course....

Ok so my lowest branch I'd completely brown and dying. Any help on how I could revive it? I'm afraid it's gone though. As for the browning tips are still appearing after pinching. Going to trim with scissors to see if that helps with the browning.

Do not file with your tree now, leave it be, it has problems enough already. Just water, that's it. The dead branch is dead, nothing you can do about it, just leave it there for now, until the tree is recovered completely
