My juniper bonsai just started developing this white film on its trunk. I'm not sure if it's mold or just mineral deposits from using non-rainwater. Appreciate any insight or feedback. I want to keep this tree healthy and am afraid it's mold!
It gets full sunlight until about 2/3 pm.

I do not see what you are seeing, tbh.
So far, nothing to be concerne about.
I would put the plants straight up though. Watering is very dificult with the pots on their sides.

My tree ended up having a two-spotted spider mite problem. I've killed the mites but they did some damage.
