variegated trident maple

Hi there , i recently aquired this trident maple , the seller stated that the maple allways bears these red green leaves , Is this a certern type of trident maybe ?

No it is normal colour leaves for Trident the leaves are not varigated.

Trident maple has several cultivars, just like japanese maples. Some of these have special coloration. So yeah, very well possible.
