beginner with two ficus trees was created by gdragonsong

I finally bought what I think are two ficus trees. One ginseng and the other Retusa.
I am moving to colorado from texas soon and am worried that the altitude change might negatively affect the trees. Any advice?
Pictures attached in case.

Find a local bonsai club and ask them what they do. Given the extremes if altitude and climate there it would be difficult to apply generic advice.

Your plants will not care about the altitude. However, you need to start looking in care in general. The second ficus looks very weak.

Yes, I had to leave suddenly for florida and could not arrange for someone else to care for them. I am working on strengthening it.

The only reason I mentioned altitude is the difference in temperature. A month ago my brother had to get the snow blower out to get the snow off his driveway.

Different plants have different expectations for temperature. Some need a month below freezing and some have to stay above 50. Some don't like major swings. Swinging back and forth takes special care, and Colorado can do that.
