Dear everyone
I am completely new in bonsai world but not in the plants world. 名媛直播 is my new passion and I am so glad I am not alone
I need your help and advice about a three I bought today. It is a corokia three that I would like to form as a bonsai. Besides pruning of its branches, I would like to move it in a bonsai pot. But since the three is actually in a relatively high pot, it means that pruning of its roots would be mandatory. Is there anyone that can give me good advice on how to prune the roots and when to do it? I am impatient and I would like to do it now but as I understand, it would be the best to wait until the next spring and then do it but how much of the roots to remove? If anybody has a suggestion about a pot, you are welcome.
Thanks for help
Marko

First things first: trees need to be outside or they die.
Second: bonsai is not a sprint, it's a marathon, so breath in and out and do not rush anything.
My best advice: learn to keep it alive by placing it outside and watering it, for a lot of people already difficult. Take the time to read/ learn basic horticulture ( bonsai is foremost horticulture, you can't do anything on/ with a unhealthy tree) and after that basic bonsai knowledge. Search this forum, go to a club, etc etc. It is years too soon for a pot for this tree, bonsai pots are the last stage in the development of a tree.
Edit: I took a closer look at your tree : I see it's " braided"? If so that will never become a bonsai ( because a bonsai is the representation of a real tree , miniaturised in a pot)
I know and recognise your enthusiasm to do things, but trust me you will be much better off in the long run if you don't do anything now
