Hey guys. This is my first bonsai. I have no idea what kind it is. from what I've gathered it's a ficus, but not sure what kind. I need determine what kind it is in order to care for it properly. Also, it's got very short bunched together leaves that are kind of curly, but two really long tall stems with huge leaves. Its still in the planter pot so any suggestions on repotting for a first timer would be appreciated. I'll attach a picture. Also, the trunk feels a little loose in the soil. I patted down the soil around it but is this a sign of something else ?

Thanks in advance :)

This is a Ficus not bonsai. Not a good species to train as bonsai, if it is loose in the pot probably not a lot of roots, just keep it watered don't fuss with it, leave it to grow roots.

It is a tropical plant so could be re potted any time, if it needs it. don't do it just for the sake of doing it.
