A picture would be Nice.
But in general, if jades are not doing well, cut down on water.

Take the wire off, it is doing nothing.
Your tree is overwatered, stop watering until it picks up or get shriveld leafes.

When was the plant wired?
If temperatures are high (summer temps, 20c+ during the day) and the plant is in the sun, you can water these every day and they will grow like crazy.
Removing the wire might be contra-productive. Any damage the wire might have done, is done. Fiddling with the branches again will only daamge it more at this point.
I would just water regularly, place in the sun (Although, if it was indoors it can get burnt if placed directly in full sun: Give it a position with early morning / evening sun for the first weeks till it pick up on growth). It should respond quickly.
For many plant issues "doing nothing but ensuring proper care" is a good solution.
