Hi all
I won this little Juniper probably fifteen years ago at our club auction, I paid little for it but can't recall if the auctioneer said the actual name!
I think it may be Itoigawa but may also be wrong (Usually am!!)
The new foliage is the spikey kind but much shorter than my common Juni's, It normally stays quite short too!
A pic, Sorry, I can't find a better image as i'm useless with a camera!
This image is hidden for guests.
Many thanks in advance for any help
BTW, Does anyone know haw many varieties of Juniper there are?
Kind regards, John

Hey John,
This looks like a chinese juniper. It might very well be an ittoigawa. So that would make it a Juniperus chinensis 'ittoigawa'
Looks like a decent tree to start on. The needle foliage means it has been under a lot of stress, probably due to poor trimming techniques.
