Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and looking for help. Long story short a buddy of mine contacted me because he knew I have a few bonsais and was wanting to get rid of his juniper bonsai.
He has had it for about two months and it has been inside on the west side of his so only getting sun when the sun sets through the window. He said he was watering it when the soil got dry but noticed it was turning yellow.
I agreed to take the plant and places it outside where it can get full sun until about noon and then it’s in partial shade and have been watering it more or less every day due to the outside temperatures averaging mid 90s here in North Texas. The junipers pines are pretty yellow but it has some growth. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help this juniper because I don’t want him to die. The soil is bonsai soil.
Thanks in advance everyone

It's not completely dead, yet. Clear off all the green tumble weed looking things, and all the glued on gravel. Put it outside, and pray. There's not, much life life left.

I hope it does, the rocks are loose and thankfully not glued down! I would have repotted it if that was the case! Do you think trimming back the yellow branches would help save the main trunk and tree or just add stress that could push it over the edge?

You need to remove the dead bits, if there is no green on the branch. Full sun and keep watered.
