I bought an 11 year old Deshojo maple and it arrived last week. It was green and appeared to look in great health. I've watered the plant regularly to ensure the soil is always damp (but no over watered) and have placed it on my Decking where it can receive low intending sun light in the morning hours and shade for the rest of the afternoon. It appears to have rapidly changed colour to a dark green/almost brown - is this normal/okay?

I am concerned for its health and want to make sure to check with others if there's anything I'm doing wrong.
I live in North East UK, its not very humid here currently about 16 - 21 degrees on average. I tried moving it today
to an area of more sunlight and around other plants to possibly increased its humidity.

Any advice is massively appreciated!

It is summer and that is what happens. More sunlight which would be better anyway will not change the colour, autumn will. Just keep it well watered.
