help me shape my ficus was created by snique

Hello all,
I have just joined the forum but have been passively growing bonsai for about 8 years. I would still consider myself a beginner though. Anyway, I bought this ficus from a bonsai show around 7 years ago, it was a little beat up but I figured it would be good as a beginner, yet I'm still not sure how to shape it. Here are some pictures, If you have any advice I would love to hear it!
I've attached some pictures, if I need to take some different angles or closer up ones let me know.
Thanks for your help!

P.s. sorry for the duplicate images, I had trouble uploading them for the first time

Hi; welcome to the forum!

As for shaping.. It looks like you have no branches on one side of the plant. Have you considered slating the trunk towards the side without branches?

I would say go out to the woods and walk around looking at trees. Then look at yours and see what you think you could do with yours and think what it could be. Click on Inspirations and 名媛直播 Gallery, and think the same. Look at some videos of different techniques, and think how each technique could apply.

This will take a while. Good bonsai, like good food, takes time.
