We Iive in Texas and repotted 6 month ago. We have had our bonsai 18 months. Are yellowing inside needles normal?

That is good, but can you give a bit more info: under a porch, outside in bright sun, watering schedule, etc etc. Picture is also really small, cant see is really good.

Best to place it in full sun, and only water when the soil feels dry. Water until it runs out the drainage hole. The pot it is currently in does have a drainage hole i hope?

Thank you! We'll do as you've said and keep you posted! Yes, the pot does have drainage holes. Living in Texas, it gets really hot here, but that doesn't seem to be the problem - am I right?

no heat is not the problem as long as you keep the soil moist and dont let it dry out. mine trees stay in heat all day and do just fine.

This plant is perfectly healthy. Junipers shed ol needles, and typically do this in one big wave. That is what you are seeing now.
