I've had my bonsai tree for a few years & it looks completely healthy - I take good care of it. However, while watering it today, I noticed 2 small separate pieces of the trunk have sort of disintegrated or dried up & have disconnected from the soil. Is that normal? It's strange since my bonsai & it's leaves look completely healthy otherwise.
