hi this is my first bonsai n i guess its ginseng ficus bonsai as seller mentioned it so my questions are
1. Is this bonsai tree any good for beginner to learn from and what other bonsai tress i can buy to start with mostly indoor.
2. there are many wire marks in this tree as i showed in pics so will it affect my plant?
3. i think there are too many leaves at the top n not so many at the lower part of the tree so should i prune it or not? . which area you think need pruning?
4. there are cut marks at the top of tree how to get rid of that mark ? its hidden in leaves but still it doesn't look nice on bonsai.
5. hows this soil ? should i repot it or leaves in this one for now ?
6.any tips to make it look better?

i can add more pics if anybody wants to see ,thanks for viewing and replying on my post :)

It is not a bonsai tree it is only a Ficus houseplant. If the soil drains it is ok. You can't get rid of cut marks or wire marks.

For now your Only goal is to make the tree survive and get strong. No prunning and no repotting unless absolutely neccesary.
