Brown patchy/spotty leaves on chinese sweet plum?? was created by dylanb28

Hello, I'm fairly new to caring for bonsai trees, but I've had this Chinese Sweet Plum for a couple of months now and it seems to have been doing alright up to now. I have started noticing these brown patchy/spotty bits on the leaves that have appeared all of a sudden.

Some info about the tree:

I bought it from a garden center a few months ago and it's remained in the same pot since and has seemed to be doing ok. It's currently potted in a plastic container that has holes in the bottom and is sat within another pot, which is how it came.

Positioning: I keep it on a window ledge with good sunlight with blinds I can tilt if it's getting too much direct sunlight, I also leave the window slightly open to give it a bit of ventilation. I live in the UK and it was quite hot a few days ago for over a week it may have possibly got to much sunlight?

Watering: I have been watering it every 4-5 days or whenever the soil is looking really dry. I also used some 'bonsai' liquid fertilizer last week that I got from a garden center, not sure if this has affected it all?

I have attached some images of what the tree leaves look like at the moment, would you chop these leaves off? or will they go on there own? I'm not sure what to do, any help would be great!

Thanks

You are not watering enough, that is why the leaves are looking like that. Stop the fertiliser it is too much
