I have recently been given a Kokedama Chinese Elm, I would love to have this on my patio rather than indoors. And I would prefer it in a pot...
Is this possible?? And how do I go about It?
Thank you

So, your idea is the right one: it needs to be outside, preferably in the sun.
In a pot... you mean a bonsai pot?

A pot is a pot. What is important is what is inside the pot. What we call bonsai pots are usually very shallow compared to other pots, but anything that holds dirt will keep it alive. I have trees outside in nursery containers, very large light clay pots, an old bucket with a hole cut in the bottom, all waiting for the day they get someone more like a bonsai pot.Moosey wrote: Thank you for your reply. Ideally in a bonsai pot (although I am finding one hard to get hold of at the moment! Could it survive in a regular pot?)

I am in Alabama, where pine is a four letter word. When names were being handed out, they were called pine because weed had already been used.lucR wrote: Don't forget colanders for the pines
