White areas on my pine

I hope someone can help. I was watching a Peter Chan video yesterday and at one point he mentioned he had found something called Adelgid on a pine bonsai.
Now I am a bit worried I have the same thing. I cut off a pine cone on my white pine and saw some white areas but simply thought it was sap drying. Now I'm not so sure.
I have tried to wash it off but some of it is still there. I hope someone can give some advice about what to do next.

Could be sap coming from that cut, if there are no moving objects I would not be too worried, it does not look like fungus. Others might have a different slant,

I'm currently looking on my cell so I don't have a good view, but that looks like resin, so no worries , perfectly normal when you cut a pine. I always rub some petroleum jelly on wounds, stops the bleeding

Thanks to both of you.
I had another look at the tree earlier and found one more area with the same thing, but I didn't make a cut there.
I found some insecticide in my cellar for things like spider mites and aphids on fruit and vegetables, so I mixed a little up and treated the tree to be on the safe side. I assume it can't harm. Too late now!
