It is NOT the temperature. Junipers are widely present in the tropics. It is the whole shebang from dry air, low light, poor air movement and lack of variation.

If you're referring to my reply, that's not what I meant.
If what one does is keep a plant outdoor for 9 months and shelter it during winter in a cold frame or a garage, it's one thing.
That's not "indoor", to me. And one -depending on the plant and the local climate- may have perfectly valid reasons to do so, even with a juniper.
If for 3 months you bring a juniper in your living room, you most likely kill it.
That is what I mean.

My house have doors and the tree is behind the doors. According to my definition indoors. The same goes with my greenhouse.
