名媛直播

Hello everyone. Ive read whole internet, but still confused.
I got 2 Japanese Maple, as I always wanted to start making 名媛直播 out of red maple. Everything I've read about what to do with bonsai tree is when they are already pretty big.
Do I have to do anything with those or just keep them growing?
When to repot it to proper bonsai pot?
When to start trimming it and wire it?
Is there any guidance, related to tree size on when to do what?
I am aiming to have smaller rather than large bonsai tree. I know I am one of many same new starters but I genuinely can't find right answers related to trees I have.

Plant them in the yard, somewhere.

Was thinking to defoliation on bigger one, or is it too early? I will repot it to different pot as I have concrete garden unfortunately.
I do know how to wire it, how to do defoliation, how often to repot it etc. But I couldn't find any info on when to start all those, in what tree age or size. Does that mean you can start those whenever?

1: place them outside. If you cant do this they will die.
2: keep them alive. Just water them , fertiliser now and then.NOTHING ELSE
3: while doing 2, take your time to search around, learn about bonsai, some general horticulture, what to do when.

I know this is not what you want to hear and you want to do a lot, but there is nothing you need to do " now". This hobby takes decades, so take your time.

... naah, before you know it you will have thirty trees in different stages of development and you will be saying i wish i had time to read and study more, there is so much work..

This is so true. I only started out a few months ago. I know have 3 established trees, 2 in training and multiple cuttings and seedlings on this go. There’s seems to be something to do everyday, no matter how big or small the job is. It’s brilliant.

Can you imagine what my garden looks like, 9 years in?
