Hello all.
I am new to 名媛直播 and would like to further my interest. So may I ask for some advice ? I have been given two mature boxwood trees. I would like to 名媛直播 them but unsure if I should repot first then let them recover. Prune them hard then recover. Or would I be able to do both.

Hi, and welcome to the Empire.

This plant looks healthy enough to do both at the same time, assuming you are in early spring too?
Be carefull though. If you have not done this before, it is a bit of a risk.

IF you really want to do both (repotting and cutting back) for this tree, and your experience level I would reduce the branches at maximum to cut of hall of the foliage, ensuring you keep lots of actively growing branches. With repotting, do not take off too many roots.

To be honest.. You could leave it in the pot for another year. Work the top this year. The plant is established allowing you to trim back a lot more and you run a lot less risk of things going wrong. This would be my recommendation. Do the crown now. The roots next spring. Doing both at the same time in early spring (Nowish) is possible, but it poses a bigger risk, and I would not do this if it is the first time.

Many thanks for your advice. In view of that I shall prune back. Opening the branch apex and reducing to aid light and oxygen for now.

I will be following your advice thank you. I have been studying the tree for a couple of weeks looking for the face and how I will wire and shape later. So now to take the plunge.
