hi
I bought a bonsai for my mom. Lately she has moved its location around I think she may have over watered it once.
It is wilting a lot and the leaves are losing their deeper green colouration
I'm not sure of the specific type of bonsai, but have a look at the pics, that may help.
Help please?!

What does the seller say is causing this?
Which species is it according to them?
To be honest.. My eyes are not the world greatest: I cannot tell very much from the tiny pictures you posted. Could you please post some larger pics?

Unsure on species. She said that she may have over watered it or either changed its location indoors around. She put it outside one day too. Not sure if that was to help or what caused this.
Its been with her for about 4 months, but only in the last couple of weeks, has it deteriorated.
If you click on the picture and zoom in with 'ctrl+scroll', that should help enlarge it.
Thanks

Looks a bit like wisteria leaves, I would have thought this plant should be outside, over watering is the biggest killer of house plants you need to identify this plant, and get the watering right It is very difficult with such a small image

Looks like a plant of which the finerroots have dried out and died, and as a result, the whole plant is dying. If this is the case, the only thing to hope for is the roots still having enough life left to send out new fine roots. Keep shaded. Do not let the soil dry out, and certainly do not soak the roots. Just moist. Wait.

Right, so not in direct sunlight. Got you.
What would cause the roots to die?

Yeah, but I mean we have been watering it and the soil is kept moist.
So, thats why I'm curious, as to why this could have happened.
Could being in the sun caused the roots to dry out?

It does look like Wisteria, and if it has not been outside then that is the cause of the damage done. Sun and water is the main requirements of all plants, and it needs the correct amount of both. Saying that you have been watering means nothing, how often and how much? Lack of water will cause the roots to dry out. Watering is a skill that needs to be learned, so you have to wait for the soil to be almost dry and then water thoroughly. But the first thing is it must be outside.
