Hey guys, I live in Texas where it can get pretty hot. Sometimes in the triple digits. My concern is the heat, I do have my tree where it gets shade in the late afternoon, but is the heat to much? Any suggestions or advice? Plz
P.s. it's a Juniper

triple digits being 37c/100f and up?
The main concern I have is about the roots. Sun on a pot can heat the pot enormously. The plant itself does not mind 37c

well from experience my junipers do fine in that heat of course you need to really keep up on watering. it reaches 110*F/43*C plus sometimes where i live, all i do is make sure i keep up on all my watering. there are days were i will sometimes water 3 times a day which i had to do this weekend as i looks like we got a heat wave and is suppose to continue for the next week. we do get constant days even weeks with these temps mid summer but i find as long as the soil is keep moist it hasn't really affected any trees.
